From Bordeaux’s right bank, at the heart of the Pomerol region, comes this 2008 red blend: the Fugue de Nénin, the second label of the Chateau Nénin. Like most wines of the region, this red blend is dominated by Merlot but also incorporates Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon.

As is the case with all wines from Pomerol, the Fugue de Nénin is unclassified. However, it is also recognized as one of the better wines in the appellation and offers an excellent value for the price.
EYE: Dark ruby in color.
NOSE: Pleasantly fragrant bouquet exhibits notes of sweet blackberry fruit, prunes, and hints of oak.
MOUTH: Medium-bodied, firm tannins, and solid structure, this wine exhibits a pleasant mid-palate weight, and a rather brisk finish.
