Description

The 1er cru “ Clos de l’Ecu” is a wine produced from a vineyard, which is the monopoly of the Faiveley Estate since 2003.
Located in Côte de Beaune, the plot is around 2 hectares, and historically, it was a walled vineyard, where owners paid the Dukes of Burgundy their taxes in the currency “Ecu”.
There are less than 15 000 bottles produced annually, and it is composed of a 100% Pinot Noir. Vines are aged between 60 and 25 years old.
