Domaine de Montille, Bourgogne Chardonnay 2015
Chardonnay grapes are used for this great white wine from Burgundy.
This "generic" Burgundy is from vines planted in parcels in Meursault, Chassagne-Montrachet and Puligny-Montrachet, at the edges of the village appellations. This cuvée, the only blend from different villages in the line-up of the Maison, is a lovely surprise.
The wine spends about 11 to 12 months in old barrels, helping the wine to preserve its maximum freshness and focusing on the fruit.
EYE: A nice pale lemon color
NOSE: The aromas are fresh and profoundly expressive. with note of white fruits and minerality
MOUTH: Nice attack in the mouth with lovely length
