Chateau Chasse Spleen is composed of 73% Cabernet Sauvigon, 20% Merlot and 7% Petit Verdot.
The wine is aged in 40% new French Oak barrels for between 12 and 15 months before bottling.
This young vintages can be decanted for 1-2 hours, allowing the wine to soften and open its perfume. The wine will also gently warm in the glass, releasing its aromatics.
Possible to keep the wine for 10 – 20 years.
EYE: Bright red colour.
NOSE: Bright black fruits notes emerge from the glass, accompanied by sweet vanilla.
MOUTH: Full bodied, tannic red with aromatics of cherries and violets.
