Alain Jaume Gigondas 2014
- 91 / 100 Parker
Gigondas wines are produced from the grapes on a rocky bar, with altitude from 100 to 600 meters, on clay and sand with limestone soils.
It is a fresh and powerful wine, with grapes achieving their ripeness late September. It is bottled around 12 months after harvesting.
Nice combination with a beef or a lamb curry or spicy meat noodles.
EYE: A deep red garnet color
NOSE: The Gigondas wine has typical aromas from the Grenache grapes of ripe black fruits such as blackberry.
MOUTH: Harmonious on the palate, powerful and well-balanced, with finishing notes of crushed rocks and smooth tannins.
