Description

This wine is produced on the extreme north part of Châteauneuf du Pape, on a soil with a high quantity of red clay and pebbles-, which is often described as the best area to produce powerful red wines.

Les Origines offer a complex wine, with a great ageing potential. It is composed of 50% Black Grenache grapes, 20% of Shiraz and 30% of Mourvèdre grapes, all hand harvested, de-stemmed and crushed. While the Grenache is matured in stainless steals vats, the Shiraz and Mourvèdre are matured in French Oak barrels.

The annual production of Les Origines is 1700 cases.

Les Origines have a deep and brilliant purple-red color.
NOSE:
From the aromas of black ripe fruits to the spices, such as liquorice and pepper.
MOUTH:
This wine has a strong aromatic complexitiy for the palate, with an harmony of the tannins and an elegant woodiness and a fruity finish.
