Description

The Brut Rosé by Billecart-Salmon is a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir white juice and Pinot Noir red juice.

The Billecart-Salmon Brut Rosé is pale pink taking on warm gold hues, and its delicate and slowly ascending bubbles create a long-lasting mousse. The subtle nose reveals an elegant bouquet of very refined red fruit notes.

The particular method used to make this champagne results in a lightness of touch, an elegance on the palate and a superbly refreshing final.

Strongly anchored in tradition, such as the use of barrels for the grand crus, Billecart-Salmon age their bottles in an extended network of caves cut out of the chalk hills, dating from the 17th and 19th century.

The constant temperature – around 12°, enables a very fine effervescence to develop. The Brut Rosé from Billecart-Salmon is a champagne to fall in love with, a summer champagne, much appreciated by female palates for its balance and delicacy.

The “trade secrets” and the winemaking methods go way back to the origins of the establishment, and have been passed down through seven generations.

                    Description

Moët & Chandon Impérial NV is the world's most popular champagne: and Moët's Rosé Impérial NV ranks up there in the non-vintage rosé category. The most extrovert and seductive expression of the House style, Rosé Impérial is a Pinot Noir- and Pinot Meunier-dominant blend of over two hundred crus. The final assemblage contains 25% reserve wines and 8% red wine made using thermo-vinifcation; a method that gives colour and fruitiness to the wine.

Tasting Note: On the nose, this vivid pink champagne displays a fruity bouquet of red berries and cherries. On the palate, an initial sweetness of berries lends itself to a freshness of fruits. The finish is long with more red fruit flavour and hints of pink grapefruit. A very vinous rosé with a fruit-forward style.

                          Description
The Pol Roger Rosé Vintage is based on the Brut Vintage (60% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay) to which they add, before the bottling and second fermentation, approximately 15% of still red wine (Pinot Noir) from the best crus of the Montagne de Reims.
Produced only in limited quantities, the Brut Rosé Vintage 2006 is aged 7 years in our cellars before being released onto the market.
EYE: An intense pink peppercorn colour with a fine stream of persistent bubbles.
NOSE: The nose has aromas of red fruits and summer berries.
MOUTH: On the palate, the first impression is freshness with notes of fragrant wild strawberry, this develops into creamy ripeness with a hint of vanilla. If the wine is allowed to blossom in the glass, a further layer of citrus aromas appears, with notes of grapefruit on the finish. The wine boasts a linear structure and rare finesse complemented by intensity of flavour. This is a rosé champagne with great personality.

Brut Rosé from Veuve Clicquot is a blend of 50 to 60 different Crus. The blend is completed by 12% red wine from different Champagne Crus, giving this cuvee its soft pink color.

The nose reveals a generous, refined champagne, with the presence of raspberry, wild strawberry and cherry aromas, evolving to notes of almond, dried apricot and biscuit.

                                                    Description

                                                    THE THRILL OF PINOT NOIR

Dom Pérignon Rosé is a tribute to Pinot Noir. To work with Pinot Noir continually requires excellence and humility. In that regard, Dom Pérignon Rosé is a paradox to the point of contradiction as it is the perfect balance of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
Although it took over ten years to reach the light of day, the color of Dom Pérignon Rosé dares to express all the tension between youth and maturity, between exhibition and restraint.
Dom Pérignon Rosé keeps the Pinot Noir promise by making it sing out loud, on a clear, vibrant and fragile note.

                                                    ON THE PALATE

The attack is smooth and embracing, but it is the impression of precision that dominates in the end. The wine’s chiseled integrity, intense and penetrating, is prolonged with the unexpected hint of green citrus that marks the vintage.

                                                    ON THE NOSE

The nose sings out loud and clear, beginning with fresh, intense red fruit: redcurrants and wild strawberries, complemented by warm notes of ripe hay, blood orange and cocoa.

                                                    THE 2004 HARVEST

The full-bodied ease of the 2004 vintage will leave its mark on the history of Dom Pérignon. In stark contrast to the previous year, the vines experienced steady, problem-free vegetative growth, with abundant, sizable grape clusters. There were no weather extremes during most of the season – even the month of August was rather cool. It was the dry heat of the final weeks that made the vintage what it is. The harvest of the mature, healthy crop began on September 24.

Gosset Grand Rosé offers a robe of salmon rose-petal pink, intense, brilliant and limpid.

A relative newcomer first released in the 1980s, Krug Rosé NV is a ground-breaking champagne: the only prestige cuvée rosé to be blended from all three different grape varieties and from such a wide range of vintages. Pinot Noirs from the best vines in Aÿ are treated to a short fermentation on their skins and then blended with Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier fermented in small oak casks, before ageing for a minimum of six years on the lees. The proportion of Pinot Noir wine that goes into the blend is very expressive and provides unparalleled characteristic colour and spice.

What you’ll find at this family “grower” house is truly vinous Champagne, wines striking in their concentration and complexity. Winemaker Francis Egly’s practice of harvesting very ripe grapes and aging his wines in barrel for years are some of the technical decisions that set his art apart from the rest; yet it is the results that captivate. Egly- Ouriet Champagne is age-worthy, sumptuous and at times surreal; these wines are unquestionably the pinnacle of Pinot Noir-based Champagne.
